Welcome
The Engineering Science Education Conference, to be held at the University of Toronto on Friday, February 9th, 2007, is a one-day event featuring talks and panel discussions by renowned professionals in both industry and academia from across North America. The featured speakers, all leaders in their respective fields, will talk about some aspect of their own work, and share a sense of their excitement for what lies ahead for young engineers about to enter the discipline, as well as their views on the future of engineering education. This will be unified under the theme of "where theory meets practicality".

The event is sponsored by the Division of Engineering Science, but is held for the benefit of all engineering students and faculty at the U of T. All are welcome. This year marks the second instance, after a successful inaugural conference last February. A link to last year's site is provided on the right.

The current site provides information about the basics of the conference and about Engineering Science, the flagship engineering program of the University of Toronto. As the conference nears, it will be expanded to allow for registration to attend the talks, and provide information on the venue and speakers.
